At CloudFest at Europa-Park in Rust, everything was about internet infrastructure: cloud computing with hardware, software and services. According to the organisers, the event attracted over 6,000 visitors. There was not only an exhibition and a lecture stage with space for many listeners, but also get-togethers with music and party in the evenings.

Of course, there was also plenty of opportunity for networking during the day, and it was nice to meet long-known business friends again.

The event was rounded off with interesting lectures and discussions, e. g. on the exciting question of what really happens in the black box of AI algorithms and what results can thus be expected.
