13.10.2025: Visit of the Work-Life Robotics Institute of Hochschule Offenburg

How can robotics and artificial intelligence help to address the shortage of skilled workers in Baden-Württemberg? This question was the focus of a joint event held on October 13 by the Ortenau and Villingen-Schwenningen/Donaueschingen sections of the Economic Council at the Work-Life Robotics Institute (WLRI) at Hochschule Offenburg (Offenburg University of Applied Sciences).

Hochschule Offenburg, with its WLRI, is considered one of the strongest research universities in Baden-Württemberg. The WLRI supports small and medium-sized enterprises in particular in the targeted use and practical implementation of robotics solutions. Topics such as AI-enabled robotics, smart gripping, and innovative sensor technology are in the focus of research and applications.
