This year, the Economic Council’s annual reception took place as part of the organization’s 60th anniversary celebrations. The Economic Council was founded 60 years ago as a registered association in order to bring economic rationality more strongly into politics. The principle of the social market economy is still the guiding principle of the organization’s activities today.
The annual reception was attended by high-profile speakers from the world of politics, including Thomas Strobl, Deputy Minister President and Minister of the Interior, Digitalization and Local Government of Baden-Württemberg, and Muhterem Aras MdL, President of the State Parliament of Baden-Württemberg. From the perspective of aproxITo’s activities, it was remarkable that the topics of skilled labor shortage and immigration received a lot of attention and discussion time. Accordingly, there were opportunities for several good discussions after the event.
