Vodafone had invited to the elevation Business Lounge at the Wagenhallen in Stuttgart. Across four stages, the event featured an exceptionally sophisticated program, including presentations on business and politics as well as technical reports from user companies. At the same time, experts from various solution partners were available to discuss special technical questions.

One of the highlights of the afternoon was the presentation by Prof. Dr. Jens Südekum, professor of economics at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf and, since May 2025, advisor to the German Federal Minister of Finance as an honorary personal representative for macroeconomic development. He presented from his point of view the latest positive trends in German foreign trade and how the German economy is should overcome the challenges of globalization and deal with international key players.

A second highlight was undoubtedly the speech by Richard David Precht, a German philosopher, journalist, and podcaster. Among other things, he discussed his views on the dangers of artificial intelligence and, drawing on the history of democracy, outlined the threats to liberal democracies that he currently considers the most dangerous—an extremely fascinating and stimulating presentation!

A big thank you to Vodafone, and especially to Jessica Meyer, for the invitation to this event!
