On the occasion of the Annual Members’ Meeting, the election of the section board for the Villingen-Schwenningen / Donaueschingen section of the Economic Council was on the agenda again this year. The elections confirmed Ulrich Dietz for a further term of duty as member of the Section Board.

Following the Members’ Meeting, Frank Bonath MdL, Chairman of the “working group for the environment, climate and energy industry” of the FDP/DVP parliamentary group, gave an impressive presentation on the heating turnaround. Both his presentation and the following intensive discussion repeatedly emphasized the need for an open approach to technology and for trust in the innovation strength of the market in order to achieve the climate targets.
