The top candidate of the CDU Baden-Württemberg for the 2024 European elections, Prof. Dr. Andrea Wechsler, introduced herself personally at this event of the Economic Council and explained the goals for the upcoming legislative period in the European Parliament in an impressive and clear presentation. Afterwards there was an opportunity for a detailed discussion with the participants.

The presentation and discussion covered the entire range of upcoming tasks. Even though there was broad agreement on the content of the huge tasks ahead, it became clear that the possibility of implementation will ultimately depend on the future composition of the European Parliament.
